Configuration of the Inline Replication Feature

To configure the Inline Replication feature, with the HPE 3PAR StoreServ / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE GreenLake for Block software, you need to set up the replication link between the local array and the remote array. With the Commvault Cloud software, you create the backup plan for replication, associate the subclients that you want to protect with the replica copy, and then add and configure the arrays in the Commvault Cloud software.

Procedure

1. Use the HPE 3PAR StoreServ / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE GreenLake for Block software to set up replication between the local array and the remote array.

2. Create a backup plan and a snapshot copy on that backup plan.

3. Create the replica copy.

4. Add the local storage array in Arrays page. See Configuring the HP 3PAR / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE GreenLake for Block Array Using Arrays page.

5. Add the remote storage array in Arrays page. See Configuring the HP 3PAR / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE GreenLake for Block Array Using Arrays page.

6. Editing the Properties of the HP 3PAR / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE GreenLake for Block Array of the local array.
