Configuring HPE Active Peer Persistence

To replicate data with the HPE Active Peer Persistence feature, you need to configure the HPE 3PAR StoreServ / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE GreenLake for Block array, and the Commvault software. In the Commvault software, add the arrays in Array Management, and then verify that the snapshot configuration properties for the array.

Procedure

1. In the HPE array, configure Active Peer Persistence for the volumes that you want to replicate.

2. In the Commvault software, use the Command Center to configure a storage array and an array access node.

3. Verify the snapshot configuration properties of the array, and make sure that the Do not create Active Peer Persistence snapshots property is not enabled. See Editing the Properties of the 3PAR StoreServ / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE GreenLake for Block Storage Array.
