Deploying Commvault (BYOL) on VMware Using a Pre-Installed Image

You can quickly deploy a VMware virtual machine using a pre-built Commvault Cloud image. VMware virtual machine image templates (OVA files) are available from the Commvault Store.

To deploy a virtual machine pre-installed with the Commvault Cloud software in your CommCell environment, download the VMware OVA template and import it into your VMware environment. After deployment, you can begin protecting your data.

Follow these steps:

1. Review the requirements for deploying a virtual machine with Commvault software already installed.

2. Download the OVA.

3. Deploy the OVA.

4. Create a Commvault Command Cent Account.

5. Add Support for Other Solutions.
