Steps By Applications for Rotating Client Secret

This section explains how to rotate a client secret for different applications, including Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory. The instructions are specific to the applications that Commvault does not store client secrets in the credential vault.

  1. Change a Client Secret for the Azure App for Exchange Online.

  2. Go to the Exchange Online connection settings, and click Verify connection to confirm that the app is authorized and up-to-date.

OneDrive for Business

  1. Change a Client Secret for the Azure App for OneDrive for Business.

  2. Go to the OneDrive for Business connection settings, and click Verify connection to confirm that the app is authorized and up-to-date.

SharePoint Online

  1. Change a Client Secret for the Azure App for SharePoint Online.

  2. Go to the SharePoint Online connection settings, and click Verify connection to confirm that the app is authorized and up-to-date.

Teams
