Configuring Volumes for the Dell Powerstore Replication Feature

On the Dell PowerStore Array, create a protection policy with a replication rule, set up the replication parameters, and then assign the protection policy to the volumes that you want to protect/replicate.

Before You Begin

On the Dell PowerStore storage array, create a protection policy with a replication rule. For instructions, see Create a protection policy.

Procedure

1. Go to Storage > Volumes.

2. From the list of volumes, select the storage resource that you want to protect.

3. From the More Actions menu, select Assign Protection Policy.

4. From the Assign Protection Policy list, select the policy that you wish to apply.

5. Click Apply.
