Getting Started with Oracle RAC

Verify that your environment meets the system requirements, complete the database guided setup, add the Oracle RAC instance, and then perform a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the system requirements for Oracle RAC.

2. Complete the databases guided setup for Oracle RAC.

   The guided setup guides you through creating a server plan and adding an Oracle RAC database server.

3. Add the Oracle package to all the clients in the Oracle RAC cluster.

4. Add an Oracle RAC instance.

5. Add the Oracle RAC nodes.

6. Create an Oracle RAC subclient.

7. Perform a test backup and restore.
