Add the Kudu App for Hadoop

When you add the Kudu app, a default subclient is created for Kudu.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.

   The Big data page appears.

2. Click the cluster to add the Kudu app to.

   The cluster page appears.

3. Under Hadoop Apps, click Add.

   The Add Hadoop apps page appears.

4. From the Apps list, select Kudu.

5. In Kudu user, enter the Kudu user name to use for backups.

6. In Staging location, enter the full path to the staging location to use for backups and restores.

   The staging location can be a local file system or an NFS file system.

7. Click Save.
