Add an Kudu Subclient for Hadoop

You can create a Kudu subclient for data that has different backup requirements.

As a best practice, create different subclients for managed and external tables.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Big data.

   The Big data page appears.

2. Click the cluster that has the Kudu app added.

   The cluster page appears.

3. Under Hadoop Apps, click Kudu.

   The app page appears.

4. Under Subclients, on the right of the page, click Add subclient.

   The Add Kudu subclient page appears.

5. In the Name box, type a name for the subclient.

6. In the Table list, select the tables to include in the subclient.

7. From the Plan list, select the backup plan to use for the subclient.

8. Click Save.
