Configuring a vStore on the Huawei Software

In the Huawei software, create a vStore, open the port for snapshot operations, and create a user with data protection privileges.

Procedure

1. In the Huawei DeviceManager software, create a vStore.

2. For vStore administrators to manage vStores and access the services, configure logical ports.

3. Create a user that has vStore administrator privileges.

   Tip

   To add the vStore in the Arrays page, you will need the serial number of the physical server associated with the vStore and the vStore name.
