Extending a Recovery Test for a DR Backup Set

To extend the expiration time of a VM, you can extend the recovery test of a backup set in current reservation. When you submit the extension request, Commvault provides additional 2 days to the current reservation.

Procedure

1. Log on to the Commvault Cloud Command Center.

   The Readiness & Resilience page appears.

2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click the down arrow beside the CommCell name, and then search and select the CommCell that you want to recover.

3. In the Control plane tile, click Start recovery test.

   The CommServe details page appears.

4. Click the Recovery Requests tab.

5. In the Recovery History table, in the backup set row, click the Actions button , and then select Extend Reservation.

   The Extend Recovery Test dialog box appears.

6. Click Submit.
