Modifying an Amazon RDS Instance Configuration

You can modify a list of regions that are displayed when the backup content of an instance group is defined. In addition, you can modify the list of access nodes that have access to an instance.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

    The Overview page appears.

  2. On the Instances tab, click the instance.

    The instance properties page appears.

  3. To modify the list of regions that are displayed when the Backup content of an instance group is defined, in the Settings section on the Configuration tab, click Edit edit button outline grey/gray pencil and select the regions for the list.

If you do not define a list of regions, all regions are displayed when the Backup content of an instance group is being defined. For more information about creating instance groups, see Creating an Instance Group to Back Up Specific Amazon RDS Instances.
