Before performing recovery using the CommServe Recovery Validation Service, verify that your environment meets the following requirements:

CommServe server is deployed using Commvault Platform Release 2023E or a more recent version.

Your environment has CommServe Recovery Validation Service. For more information, contact your Commvault account representative.

CommServe Disaster Recovery (DR) backups are protected in the Commvault Cloud, and there are backups that can be used for recovery testing.

Verify that your user account has CommServe Recovery Manager role in the Commvault Cloud.

Your backups are residing in Air Gap Protect, Azure Cloud, or AWS Cloud.
