Endpoint Users in the License Summary Report

The Endpoint Users view of the License Summary Report displays details about Endpoint User Licenses such as Endpoint user information and associations, as well as desktop and laptop usage that is excluded from the capacity license.

Included Components

Primarily, End Point users are those who interact with Web Console features to back up, share, and search data.

Where to Access the Report

To view this report, in the License Summary Report, in the User Licenses table, under License, click Endpoint Users, Sharing Users,or eDiscovery Users.

Endpoint Users / Endpoint Sharing Users / Endpoint eDiscovery Users Table

The Endpoint User table displays user information and associations.

Column

Description

User ID

The ID that is assigned to the user.

User Name

The first and last name of the user.

User Login

The login name for the user.

User Email

The email address configured for the user.

Associations

The roles that are associated with the user.

Company ID

The ID that is assigned to the organization.

Company

The organization that owns the client computer.

Plan

The plan that is associated with the hypervisor host.

Desktop & Laptop Usage Excluded From Capacity Because of Endpoint User License Table

This table displays the current jobs that protect Edge Drives associated with eDiscovery users and are excluded from the capacity license because they are covered by the eDiscovery User license.

Column

Description

License ID

The ID of the license.

License

The type of license.

Job ID

The ID for the job that ran.

Job Type

The type of job that ran, such as Backup.

Client ID

The ID of the client computer.

Client

The client computer where the hypervisor host is located.

Agent ID

The ID of the agent type.

Agent

The type of agent.

Instance ID

The ID of the instance.

Instance

The type of hypervisor, such as VMware or Azure.

Backup Set ID

The ID of the backup set.

Backup Set

The backup set that is associated with the subclient.

Subclient ID

The ID of the subclient.

Subclient

The subclient that was backed up.

Storage Policy ID

The ID of the storage policy.

Storage Policy

The storage policy that is associated with the subclient.

Usage

The amount of data that was backed up.

For Protected VMs, the sum of guest sizes for each VM that was backed up under a subclient.

If a VM is backed up under two different subclients, then the software counts only the most recent backup job for the VM.

Company ID

The ID of the organization.

The organization that owns the client computer.

Plan

The plan that is associated with the subclient and the storage policy.
