Installing a Feature Release Locally on UNIX, Linux, or Macintosh Computers Using the Installation Package

You can install the feature release (formerly "service pack") on MediaAgents and client computers by using the installation package that was created from the Download Manager application.

Note

Maintenance releases are installed when installing service packs. If you want to install maintenance releases only, see Installing Maintenance Releases.

Before You Begin

  • Obtain the latest feature release version of the Download Manager application and use it to download the Commvault software. For more information, see Downloading Software for UNIX, Linux, and Macintosh Computers.
