You can manually discover all existing DB2 databases. This one-time operation creates a corresponding CommCell backup set for each discovered database.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers >client > DB2.

Right-click the instance, point to All Tasks, and then click Discover Databases.

Click Yes.
