Configuring Software Encryption on Commvault Grid Storage

You can configure software encryption on Commvault Grid storage.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Storage > HyperScale X.

   The Commvault Grid page appears.

2. Click the Commvault Grid storage.

   The Commvault Grid storage page appears.

3. On the Configuration tab, in the Encryption section, move the Encrypt toggle key to the right.

   The Add encryption dialog box appears.

4. Enter the encryption details:

   1. From the Cipher list, select an encryption method.

   2. From the Keylength list, select an encryption key length.

   3. Click Save.

5. For Key management server, select an existing server, or add a new server.

6. Click Save.
