You can restore Microsoft OneDrive for Business data either to the same location from where it was backed up, or to a different location.
You can restore data as follows:

Same location: You can restore data from the cloud to the server from where it was backed up.

Different location: You can restore data to a physical disk that is attached to a client that has the Cloud Apps package installed on it.
You can perform the restore operation on a default subclient or a user-defined subclient that has been backed up.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Applications > Office 365.
The Office 365 apps page appears.

Click the OneDrive for Business app.
The app page appears.

Select one or more users that you want to restore, and then click Restore.
The Backup content page appears.

From the upper-right of the page, select the backups to restore:

To restore the most recent backup, click Show latest backups.

To restore a backup from a specific date, click Show backups as of a specific date, select a date, and then select the backup.

To restore a backup from a date range, click Show backups for a date range, select a date range, and then select the backup.

Select the subclients you want to restore, and then click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.

Whether you want to restore data to the OneDrive cloud or to a physical disk, complete one of the following steps:

To restore data to the OneDrive cloud, from the Restore destination list, select OneDrive for Business.

To restore data to a physical disk, from the Restore destination list, select File Location.

To restore the data, follow one of the methods in the table below:
Restore to the same location
Restore to a different location
Restore to a disk

Restore the data to its original location: Select this option to restore data to the same location from which the data was backed up.

Unconditionally overwrite if it already exists: To overwrite files and folders that are in the destination and have the same names as files and folders that you are restoring, select this check box.

Restore the data to another location: Select this option to restore data to a different location.

User: Browse or type the email ID of the user to which you want to restore data.

Folder: By default, data is restored in the root folder of the selected user. You can browse to restore data to a different folder.

Unconditionally overwrite if it already exists: To overwrite files and folders that are in the destination and have the same names as files and folders that you are restoring, select this check box.

Destination server: Select a client that has the Cloud Apps package installed, and that is attached to the physical disk that you want to restore the data to.

Destination path: Click Browse to choose a folder on the physical disk that is attached to the destination client that you selected.

Click Submit.
Note

Public share links are not restored for files.
-
You can restore OneNote items only to the user’s Notebook folder.
-
You cannot restore an attachment of size 4 MB or greater attached to a Notebook.
