A Hedvig Storage Cluster deployed to run object storage has the flexibility to run a Hedvig Storage Proxy only as a service on the cluster storage node.
Note
A Hedvig Storage Proxy running the S3 Service is not deployed as an HA pair. A load balancer with multiple S3 storage proxies at the backend is used to achieve high availability. For more information, see Adding Non-HA Storage Proxies for S3 Object Storage.
