Removing Access from Block and NFS Virtual Disks

You may need to remove access from a virtual disk, for example, before you can delete the virtual disk.

Procedure

  1. Make sure that client traffic to the virtual disk has been stopped.

  2. In the Manage Access dialog box, in the Current Access tab, select the storage proxy that you want to remove, click the trash can (Managing tags for virtual disks (3)) next to it, and then click Remove Access.

    Removing access

  3. Repeat this process if the virtual disk was provisioned for multiple storage proxies.
