Configuring the NetApp SnapMirror Cloud Target

Add the NetApp SnapMirror Cloud Target destination and related configuration information to the CommServe server.

Before You Begin

Ensure that the source storage virtual machine (SVM) name and bucket name on the NetApp SnapMirror Cloud Target vendor are different.

Start the Configuration Wizard

  1. From the navigation pane, click Manage > Infrastructure.

    The Infrastructure page appears.

  2. Click Arrays.

  3. On the Arrays page, click Add.

    The General page of the Add Snap Array configuration wizard appears.

General

  1. From the Snap vendor list, select NetApp SnapMirror Cloud Target.

  2. In the Array name box, type the name of an existing bucket.

  3. In the Service host box, type the fully qualified domain name.

  4. In the Description box, enter the description for the array.

  5. For credentials, do one of the following:

    • To use the saved credentials, move the Use saved credentials toggle key to the right, and then select credentials from the Saved credentials list.

    • To add new credentials, enter the credentials in User name and Password boxes.

  6. Click Next.

    The Array Access Nodes page of the configuration wizard appears.

Array Access Nodes

  1. From the Available MediaAgents list, select one or more access nodes and then click OK.

    • To select all the available MediaAgents as access nodes, click SELECT ALL.
  2. To disable pruning, move the Pruning toggle button of the respective access node to the left.

  3. To rearrange the selected access nodes, drag them upwards or downwards as required.

  4. Click NEXT.

    The Snap Configurations page of the configuration wizard appears.

Snap Configurations

  1. Configure Snapshot Configuration Properties according to your needs.

    Note

    This tab is displayed only if you select the NetApp SnapMirror Cloud Target - NetAppStorageGRID in the Snap Vendor field.

  2. Click SUBMIT.
