Setting Up CommServe LiveSync for an Existing CommServe Server

You can set up a High Availability CommServe Host for an existing CommServe server.

  1. Review general guidelines to prepare your environment for setting up the CommServe LiveSync feature.

  2. Upgrade the existing CommServe to the most recent Commvault service pack.

  3. Installing the CommServe Failover Package on the Production CommServe Host.

  4. Install the standby CommServe host.

    If you have an existing standby CommServe host, make sure to uninstall the software first, For more information on uninstalling the CommServe software, see Uninstalling the CommServe Software.

  5. Install a MediaAgent.

  6. Enable the LiveSync operation.

  7. Setup Frequent Disk Cache for LiveSync Replication.

  8. Configure connectivity to remote Web Server and Workflow engine clients.

  9. Verify the default setup.

  10. Verify disaster readiness.

What to Do Next
