Report Selection - Tracking (General)

Updated

Use this dialog box to select the filter criteria to be included in the Tracking Report. The individual filter criteria are listed and explained below.

Reconciliation (Pending Actions)

Select his option to view the Vault Tracker pending actions.

Due back for reuse

Select this option to view the media list which is due back.

Tracking Policies

Select this option to view the list of media related to the Vault Tracker policies in the report.

History

Select this option to include the Vault Tracker history in the report.

All

Includes all the Vault Tracker actions in the report.

Aborted

Includes the Vault Tracker actions that were aborted in the report.

Completed

Includes the Vault Tracker actions that were successfully completed in the report.

Rolled Back

Includes the Vault Tracker actions that were completed and rolled back in the report.

Group by

This list allows you to select how data is grouped in the report.

  • Source

    Groups media by their source location in the report.

  • Destination

    Groups media by their destination location in the report.

  • Action

    Groups media by their Vault Tracking action in the report.

Include Copy Retention Information

Select this option to include copy retention (basic and extended) rule information for each media.

Exclude Retired Media

Select this option to remove media that has been retired or marked as deprecated. (When cleared, the report will contain all media including retired media.)

Exclude Recalled Media In Library

Select this option to remove media that is already recalled. (When cleared, the report will contain all the recalled media including media for which the recall is currently in progress.)

Note

If you select the Reconciliation (Pending Actions) option, the Library/Shelf/Location selection represents the source location. If you select the Due back for reuse, Tracking Policies, or History options, the Library/Shelf/Location selection represents the current location.

Save As: To save the selected options as a report template or as a script file, click this button. When you save the operation as a script, each option in the dialog will have a corresponding xml parameter in the script file. When executing the script, you can modify the value for any of these XML parameters as needed.
