Extend a SQL Clone

You can extend the time that the software retains a SQL clone.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, click Solutions > Databases > SQL Server.

   The Instances page appears.

2. Click Instant clones.

   The Instant clones page appears.

3. Select one or more clones that you want to extend, and then click Extend.

   Alternatively, you can click a clone name, and then on the Instant clone details page, click Extend.

   The Extend dialog box appears.

4. Select the date and time that you want the clone to expire.

5. Click OK.

Result

When the new time is reached,the system automatically shuts down the clone database and frees up all resources.
