Creating a New Archive Set for Archiving for Windows File System

Archive sets are logical groupings of subclients that contain data to be archived. You can create user-defined archive sets.

This option is available for client computers that use Indexing V2.


  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client.

  2. Right-click File System, point to All Tasks, and then click Create New Archive Set.

    The Create New Archive Set dialog box appears.

  3. In the New Archive Set Name box, enter the name of the archive set.

  4. Click OK.
