You can delete email messages from the ContentStore Email Viewer. Deleting email messages is helpful if mailbox quotas are enabled for your mailbox, and you receive an alert that your mailbox is near or has exceeded the quota set by your administrator.
Caution
After you delete email messages from the ContentStore Email Viewer, you cannot recover the contents or attachments.
Before You Begin
Your administrator must enable End-User Delete for your mailbox. For more information, see Configuring Exchange Mailbox End-User Delete.
Procedure

Log on to Microsoft Outlook.

Expand ContentStore, and then select one or more messages to delete.

Press Shift+Delete.
A message appears that states that the selected messages will be deleted permanently.

Click Yes.
