If you are setting a new CommCell environment, a primary and standby CommServe servers can be setup on the nodes while deploying the HyperScale X Appliance appliance. This setup keeps the CommServe server ready for disaster recovery by providing the ability to quickly failover to the standby server in the event of a failure in the primary CommServe.
Before You Begin
The CommServe server is kept ready for disaster recovery using the CommServe LiveSync feature. For more information on this feature, see CommServe LiveSync For High Availability Disaster Recovery.
