Enabling IntelliSnap Backups for PostgreSQL Databases

You can enable IntelliSnap backup on a default database group of an FS based backup set.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The database Overview page appears.

2. Go to the Instances tab.

3. Click an instance.

   The instance page appears.

4. On the Backup sets tab, click FSBasedBackupSet.

   The FSBasedBackupSet overview page appears.

5. On the Database groups tab, click default.

   The default Overview page appears.

6. In the Snapshot management tile, move the Enable hardware snapshot toggle key to the right.

   The Snapshot management dialog box appears.

7. From the Engines list, select a snapshot engine.

8. Under the Additional options section, From the Access node for snap operations list, select an access node.

9. From the Separate access node for backup copy list, select a separate access node.

10. Move the Use source if access node is unreachable toggle key to right if you want to use the source.

11. Click Save.
